Obama say he would welcome Bill Clinton on team

FoxNews
Barack Obama says he'd be happy to have Bill Clinton campaigning on his behalf now that he's the presumptive nominee, even though the former president was considered at times to be a liability for his wife's campaign.

"I think Bill Clinton is an enormous talent, and I would welcome him campaigning for me," Obama told reporters on his campaign plane Thursday.

Asked if he thinks he can mend fences with Bill Clinton, Obama said: "Yes, yes."

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

excerpt 2:"The former president angered and befuddled Democrats on the campaign trail by making comments they felt were insensitive. He equated Obama's victory in the January South Carolina primary to Jesse Jackson's win in the state 20 years, and he also told a Philadelphia radio station that he believed Obama "played the race card on me" during the incident.

But several Clinton supporters are now urging Obama to sign on Hillary Clinton as his running mate and use the Clinton team as a campaign asset."
